October 15th 2008—black womyn conversations
Today, I flew to Colorado and spent the afternoon doing outreach for the rest of the tour. In the evening, I drove to Boulder where I was fortunate to see the documentary film, “black womyn” by Tiona McClodden. When I say this movie was worth the drive down and the falling asleep on my way back, it is an understatement. It was a phenomenal film and another example of the essence of the purpose of this tour. This was a film that sought to tell the untold tales and to give voice to those who are often misunderstood and defined by others. The film was an education and an inspiration. Excellent work, my sister. Thank you for this important contribution to the struggle. To learn more, please visit http://www.blackwomynconversations.blogspot.com/
